Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition and Umbrella Chronicles?
I hate to Resident Evil 4 and Umbrella Chronicles. The game should be for the Wii. I am completely new in the series. How many hours of play each game are? What game should I expect?
I would say Resident Evil 4 would be your best bet. I think having at least 28 hours on it and I have not finished yet. The controls are very fun, and is not bothered by the "rail-ness" Umbrella. Certainly more than one game in RE4. I too was new to the series before getting to my Wii, but it is a blow and a good value for only $ 30.

Umbrella $22.99 On the scene in various forms for a year or so prior, Shota Shimizu was best known prior to Umbrella for his collaborations with Dohzi-T and Miliyah Kato. Not wanting to lose that kind of recognition certainly, Shimizu’s debut album includes all of the hits he’d put together prior. Beyond that there’s a series of new pieces, making use of his relatively thin voice in a light urban fashion. These are what could perhaps be best described as hip-hop ballads, interspersing rap delivery sections with easygoing, sung love choruses. Shimizu does make the most of the possibilities between the syllabic structure of Japanese in a rhythmic format such as hip-hop, but also often takes the R&B road, fitting his vocal qualities to the format surprisingly well. While his rap tends to come off as a bit lightweight, his crooning comes off just about right. This is pure unadulterated mid-’90s style urban balladry, right in the sweet spot that buys plenty of young female fans for the artists. Shimizu’s debut is a capable work overall, never faltering too heavily but also never stretching far enough to really wow the listener either. ~ Adam Greenberg |

Includes a reprint of Michael Moorcock’s short story “The Dreaming City”.Recorded live during Hawkwind’s 1985 The Chronicle of the Black Sword tour, Live Chronicles is a remarkable retelling of that album’s own storyline, spread out over four full sides of vinyl and littered with Hawkwind oldies that really could have been written with Chronicle in mind — and new material that, apparently, was. Following in the footsteps of 1972′s Space Ritual with its combination of music and narration (from original Chronicle author Michael Moorcock), the show more or less follows the studio set’s running order, opening with the mood-melding “Song of the Swords” and then pursuing hero Elric through a complex tale that is only strengthened by the sheer cohesion of its re-creation — Moorcock himself later described the live show as “the pure version,” although it must be confessed that vinyl alone loses a great deal of the magic. To truly appreciate Live Chronicles, one needs the accompanying video as well (and how often is that said about Hawkwind?). Necessarily lacking some of the studio album’s atmosphere, Live Chronicles nevertheless compensates with energy and immediacy — the version of “Needle Gun” is positively awesome, while “Master of the Universe” clatters with such metallic mayhem that even its rearrangement as a virtual speed anthem cannot dispel its power, an attribute that is only amplified by the song’s positioning between the lower-key “The Pulsing Cavern” and “Dreaming City.” Complaints, at the time, that the actual sound of the album is a little on the reedy side do still hold true, although that is as likely a mastering problem as anything else. Certainly, with the volume and bass control cranked up to “full,” Live Chronicles echoes with all the passion of the concerts themselves — and all the imagination of Hawkwind at full throttle. ~ Dave Thompson |
